Spiritual Guidance
I subsequently learned that the original use of Reiki in Japan was primarily a Spiritual practise - the healing was in fact a by-product of this.
Generally speaking, during a Reiki session the Practitioner works through the 7 main Chakras (specific energy centres in the body).
During a reiki session, I receive (sometimes lots of!) spiritual messages via images and videos, including suggestions that can help clients resolve issues in some parts of their lives. These can be spirit animals, fairy tale creatures, or garden scenes that symbolise an area ready for change, or where help is needed. These images are widely varied - a session is never the same twice! I narrate this information into a voice file, that I then email as an audio file, so it can be listened to again at leisure.
